Nancie A. Messina (NY)1969-2021 Nancie A. Messina, a technical support specialist and freelance artist in her spare time; a belovedmother, grandmother-to-be, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin, and bestfriend, entered into eternal rest on Thursday February 18, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Shewas 51 years old. She is survived by her two sons, Kennethlee Joseph and Phillip Jr.; survived by her six loving sisters; LeeJeanne Messina and fiance Brandon Baker of Bethel CT; Tina Florio and husband John of Bronxville NY;Michelle MacDonald and husband Daniel of Wappingers Falls, NY; Carolee Rodriguez and husband Abelof Glenham, NY; Theresa Kemper and husband Donald of Cashiers, NC; Margaret Daly and husband Ed ofFairfield, CT; her son Ken's father Luis Jimenez of Middletown, NY, loving nieces, nephews, aunts, unclesand cousins, as well as many friends. Nancie was predeceased by her husband Phillip Frederickson ofPoughkeepsie, NY, her parents Ken and Carol Messina, as well as her maternal and paternalgrandparents. Nancie had many nicknames - "Jerky, Nan, Nana, Nance, Nannie, Boogs" - these were many of the funloving nicknames that she was given, reflective of her sense of fun and laughter. She truly loved hersons, her family, all of her nieces and nephews, and her friends. She also had a great love for allanimals. A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends.
