Miles J. Nixon, Jr. Obituary (1930

Miles (BigBoy) Nixon Jr, Miles was affectionately known as Big, BigBoy and Gabe. A world traveler, he served his country while in the Navy for 8yrs and the Merchant Marines for 12 yrs. Not only did BigBoy protect our country but as the only boy with four sisters he became the family's protector and leader until the day God called him home. He entered the computer world during its early stage and rose to manager at ITT a top computing firm. He was a role model to all boys and girls. He is survived by: Sister Josephine (JoJo) Blanchard, Daughters Cheryl Martin, Cheryl Jordan and son Miles Buddy Nixon III, Grandchildren: Seslie Robinson, Mark Martin, Ingrid Nkongho, Tierra Nixon, Miles Nixon and Daughter In Law Kiata Nixon and a ship's crew of great grands, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Miles is pre deceased by his parents Miles and Nellie Nixon and sisters, Nancy Lindsay, Flora Goffe and Dorothy Wall. The sun may have set but the skies are clear and the water is calm.
