Lynford Roy Davis, Sr Obituary (2020 - 2020)

Deacon Lynford Roy Davis, Sr (also known as Bebo) was born in Kingston Jamaica on March 22nd, 1956 to mother Dorothy McBean Davis and deceased father Walford Davis. He was presently residing in the USA when he departed this earthly life and entered eternal rest on Saturday May 30th, 2020. Deacon Lynford was a devoted and dedicated man of God, who truly loved to share and teach the word of God at any opportunity. Deacon Lynford devoted his life to evangelize Christ to those who came across his path with compassion and joy. One of his favorite scriptures was Psalm 91 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." He touched so many lives and will be missed by so many especially his family, church family and numerous friends.Deacon Lynford leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 24 years Deaconess Veronica Davis and his stepchildren Sylvester and Shakeima. Mother Dorothy McBean Davis of Jamaica WI, Son Lynford Davis Jr. of Jamaica WI, four grandchildren (Shaquinna, Shanelle, Jahleel, & Jayquan Davis), two brothers: Michael Davis (wife Laverne Davis) of London England (UK) and Leon Davis of Jamaica WI, six sisters: Pauline Davis-Reid (husband Fitzhibbert Reid) of Houston Texas, Angela Davis of Jamaica WI, Claudine Bell (husband Marvin Bell) of Jurupa Valley CA, Charmaine Boothe (husband Terrence Boothe) of Baton Rouge LA, Sherine Davis of Jamaica WI and Prudence Thelma Davis of Eagan Minnesota, nieces, nephews and cousins.Prior to immigrating to the USA Lynford was an Accountant at the Income Tax office in Kingston Jamaica WI. While in the US he held various jobs as a Machinist and Pest Control Technician just to name a few: Metalized Carbon, Harrick Scientific, Lancaster Pest Control, Orr Pest Control, Terminix Pest Control and Timco Pest Control and later worked for Ossining Hudson Pharmacy as a pharmaceutical delivery driver. He was also a business owner of B & B Grocery in Ossining New York. God saw that you needed rest and said come my child and take your rest, you have fought a good hard fight. Deacon Lynford Davis Sr, is absent from this earthly world but becomes present in the heavenly realm. "Therefore, we are always confident, knowing that, while we're at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith not by sight; we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
