Kevin M. Lewis Jr.

–

Mount Vernon, New York

Kevin M Lewis, of Mount Vernon, New York, was born on November 26, 1975, in the very same city he called home for his entire life. Known to all who loved and admired him as Kevin, he was a beacon of creativity and empathy, with an innate ability to light up any room with his humor and humility. Kevin was a residential electrician by trade, but his true passions were music and art. His nimble fingers could not only navigate complex wiring but could also bring life to a blank canvas or strum a melody that would resonate in your heart.

Kevin was known for his love for the Las Vegas Raiders, his unwavering loyalty mirroring the dedication he showed in every aspect of his life. Likewise, he was an avid gamer, a testament to his playful spirit and imaginative mind. He was a man who found joy in the simplest pleasures of life, yet had the unique ability to infuse everyday moments with laughter and camaraderie. His humble nature was a grounding force for those around him, reminding us all of the importance of appreciating the beauty in our everyday lives.

Kevin is survived by his loving mother, Aurelia Jessamy, 1 sister Aurelia Bermudez, 1 niece Ariah Brown, 2 uncles Thomas & Turhan Jessamy and his nana Mayritta Jessamy and a host of cousins. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew & grandson and a cherished friend, his absence leaving a void that can never be truly filled. Kevin was predeceased by his grandfather, Thomas F. Jessamy and 1 son Kahseem Sharif Cooper. Kevin’s legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew him, remembered not only for his tangible achievements but for the intangible qualities that made him such a special person.
