Carolyn R. Foxx

–

White Plains, NY

Carolyn Foxx was born on September 20,1933 in Greenwich, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Ruth Richie Denney and William Denney.

She was a fun-loving person who loved to dance, play cards, read and play on her computer. She was a former Texaco employee who was always involved in volunteerism. She was a former volunteer computer instructor at Theodore D. Young Community and Slater Centers. This was a job she loved. She was also a Senior Reader at the Lee Jackson School. This was a job where she read to kindergartners and first graders. Another job she enjoyed. She was also a wanderer who loved to travel to different countries and learn about different cultures.

Carolyn wanted to be remembered as a person who loved all her friends and didn't want to name them all because she was afraid she would leave one out and they would feel bad. But her friends were notorious for always saying that she was never home...and usually she wasn't.

She also wanted everyone to know how much she loved her two sons Brett Foxx and Darrell Wallace, and how proud she was of them. They were the lights of her life.

She leaves her grandchild Brett Foxx, Jr., her favorite sister-in-law Rebecca Brown and her Godchild Teresa Steadman.

Her husband John Foxx, Jr., who passed away in 1994, predeceased Carolyn.

The family acknowledges with warm thanks and sincere appreciation the kindness shown during the passing of our beloved mother.
