Alice M. Moore

Our beloved Alice Marie Greenhill Moore transitioned peacefully
on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the Martine Nursing facility,
White Plains, NY at the age of 97.
Alice was born October 5, 1927 in Blackstone, Virginia to Floyd
and Annie Greenhill. Alice was a resident of White Plains, NY and
graduated from White Plains High School where she excelled in
academics and made life long friends. After graduating she worked
as a Domestic providing excellent care to the families she served.
Alice was married to Otis Sr. and with that union they were blessed
with 2 sons, Otis Jr. and Tony.
Alice was a breast cancer survivor who lived through nearly a
century of profound change and her long life was marked by
resilience, quiet strength and qualities that touched those who
knew her. She enjoyed playing cards dancing and listening to music
in her early years.
Alice had a passion for watching game shows and doing crossword
puzzles. Alice also had a sharp mind and quick wit that always
kept her family and friends entertained. Alice will be remembered
for her infectious laughter and unwavering love for her family.
Alice leaves to cherish her memory: I son Tony Sr.; 6
grandchildren, Monique, Makeva, Dante, Shannon, Tony Jr. and
Taliyeh; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren;
nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
Alice is predeceased by her husband Otis Sr. and son Otis Jr.; her
parents, Floyd and Annie Greenhill; brothers, William, Benny,
Richard, James, Harold, Harvey, John and Robert; and1 sister
Jenny.
